Discover two memorable Senegal experiences on one private day trip from Dakar: the Lion Ranch at Bandia and Lake Retba, also known as Lac Rose. Your driver picks you up at your hotel, residence or an agreed location in Dakar. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with return transport and a programme arranged for your own group.
At the Lion Ranch, observe the lions within an area supervised by the site's team. Access and viewing arrangements depend on animal behaviour, safety rules and the decisions of the wildlife staff. This package does not include the guided 4x4 safari in Bandia's main reserve; it combines the Lion Ranch visit with activities at Lake Retba.
Continue to the lake for a quad ride across the surrounding tracks and dunes. The standard price includes one quad shared by two participants. For an odd-sized group, the allocation is confirmed before the activity. If every participant wants an individual quad, ask before booking; an extra charge may apply, subject to availability. A pirogue ride then offers a view of the lake from the water, weather and safety conditions permitting. The lake's pink colour varies naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
Lunch is served at a partner hotel, with access to its swimming pool subject to the hotel's opening rules. Choose either a camel ride or a horse ride to round off the day, depending on local availability. Your driver takes you back to Dakar after the activities. The sequence is indicative; allow about 10 to 12 hours depending on traffic and conditions on the day.
Private per-person prices depend on group size: XOF 186,000 for one traveller, XOF 118,000 each for two, XOF 95,000 each for three and XOF 80,000 each for four. For five or more participants, the base price of XOF 75,000 per person applies automatically. The team confirms providers, timing and any special requirements before departure.

Tell us whether you prefer a camel or horse ride before confirmation. Lion access strictly follows the site's age and safety rules; the animals' position or behaviour cannot be guaranteed. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The pirogue, quad and pool depend on weather, provider and hotel conditions. Bring closed shoes, water, sun protection, swimwear and a towel. Please report mobility needs or other requirements before booking. Allow about 10 to 12 hours depending on traffic. A deposit may be requested under the available payment method. Prices for one to four travellers are per person; from five travellers, the base price of XOF 75,000 per person applies.
